If they do sign 6 or 7 players for the first team I'm not convinced it will make a huge difference in the first half of the season because it always takes times for players to bed in and acclimatise - especially when they've come from abroad. Just look at Spurs after they spent £110m.

My knobhead UTD friends have been mocking me that Suarez is going to Real because 'why stay at liverpool and get paid less'. Called them out. We've now all got a bet with proceeds going to the winner, large chocolate cake at our favourite cake store. I'm going to be getting 8 of these *******s. Probably develop diabetes over night but I'll die happy as I picture their tears.

Police are investigating an alleged minor scuffle in a Clitheroe wine bar at the same time as former Manchester United manager David Moyes was having a drink with a friend.
Mr Moyes, who succeeded Sir Alex Ferguson as manager at Old Trafford in July 2013, was in The Emporium wine bar and restaurant in Moor Lane with another man on Wednesday evening.
Lancashire Constabulary today issued a statement saying: “Police are investigating a report of an assault at the Emporium wine bar in Clitheroe.
“Officers attended the bar at about 10pm on Wednesday and it was reported that a 23-year-old local man had been assaulted by a 51-year-old man. He did not require hospital treatment.
“Inquiries are ongoing and we are speaking to a number of people to try to establish the circumstances.
“There are a number of differing accounts which we need to work through to try to establish exactly what has happened. No-one has been arrested at this stage.”
Police are examining CCTV footage from the bar and speaking to people who were in there at the time.
Former Preston North End boss Mr Moyes, 51, was sacked by United last month after finishing seventh. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

More LOLs! Kroos joins a very very very long list.
Louis van Gaal ends Manchester United’s interest in Toni Kroos
Louis van Gaal has ended Manchester United’s interest in Toni Kroos, in what represents the new manager’s first major decision regarding the rebuilding of his squad this summer.
The Bayern Munich midfielder had been pursued by David Moyes, Van Gaal’s predecessor, with the 24-year-old identified as being able to help solve the deficit in United’s central midfield department.
Kroos, who impressed in a deep-lying role when Bayern knocked United out of last season’s Champions League, has only a year left to run on his contract at the German club.
Yet despite his ability to also play in the No10 role or as box-to-box midfielder, Van Gaal, who is aware of Kroos’s abilities from his own time managing Bayern, has decided he should not be a target for the club this close season.
Paul Scholes, who was United’s last top-line operator in the position until he retired in 2013, believes Kroos should be the prime choice as the 20-times champions seek to re-establish itself as contenders.
“The first player I’d bring in is Toni Kroos. He’s a top-class central midfield player but United need five or six to get anywhere near the top of the Premier League again,” he told Paddy Power.
Kroos’s current deal expires next summer but Bayern are still playing hardball over a new contract offer. Their president Karl Hopfner said: “There will certainly be further talks. But at some point the player has to say what he wants,” Hopfner said in an interview with Kicker magazine. “We will not exceed certain financial boundaries.”
Hopfner pointed to the case of Michael Ballack, who left the club for Chelsea in 2006, as a similar example. “It was the same with Michael Ballack and at some point we withdrew the offer.”Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
