If we sign players like Reus then everyone can get ****ed.

They are most likely to sign him than us though.

          Such a massive gap

In 10 years time when the deal is coming to an end, this £75m a year might not look like such a great deal. Others will hopefully catch up and over take it before then.

I just don't buy it, there has to be a downside for Utd there? It makes no sense to more than double what Real get for instance.

There *has* to be something more to it. There is absolutely no way that UTD are more than twice as valuable than Real Madrid. Got to be performance related and the only way they will make the total amount is to win the league and champions league every year

This shows what is so bad about football. Money has infiltrated the sport to an extent that it now skews meritocracy.

Clearly the £750m figure is what the deal is potentially worth. I suspect the actual figure will be half that (which is still very good) unless Utd win the league regularly and challenge in the Cl regularly, neither of which will happen.

Would that mean the ones below it are also what the other teams could potentially earn?

Ours is up for renewal in four years. We should make sure we sign a new one that expires shortly after theirs so we know in advance what to aim for each time they sign a new one!

Now Conte is gone from Juve......wonder if Vidal is next? FFS he's ending up with United

Well, United are always likely to strengthen, so I don't understand why we'd be depressed if they did so. So be it.

Listening to the radio this morning and Coral have United to finish in the top 4 ahead of us.
