Obviously they won't turn on LVG so soon - he is the masterful superstar (and inventor of 3-5-2 ) so #GlazersOut is trending on ****ter.

Moaning about the club not spending enough when they have spunked £60m so far.

1 game in and the pressure on him already. Looked like he aged about 20 years during that game, he looked ****ed in the post match interview.

Sunderland away is a tough game. Would be comical if they lost.

Hopefully agent Borini is deployed in advance of this game.

It's starting lads. Check it out from redblob,

If the story about Anderson, Nani and Zaha being banished from the team are true, Louis Van Gaal is an unprofessional prick who blows a lot of hot air and only cares about his own ego. I don't like him and I don't think he will do half as well as people think, and further to that I think he will actually do far more long-term damage to the club by making it fit his ideals than Moyes ever could. In three to four seasons time, when Van Gaal leaves, I think we will be in a bigger mess than we are now.

Dude has over 20k posts as well so not trolling. Nice.

Nige has 25k and dan 17k. I don't think post count necessarily means not a troll.

Manchester United are prepared to commit as much as £100million to their pursuit of Angel di Maria as the ailing Barclays Premier League club try to beef up Louis van Gaal’s squad before the end of the summer transfer window.

United manager Van Gaal is desperate for world- class additions and has told chief executive Ed Woodward to do all he can to bring winger Di Maria to the club from Real Madrid.

It is understood United have told the Argentine that, with performance-based incentives, they will pay him around £200,000 a week. Over a five-year deal that would take United’s investment to £100m when a transfer fee of around £50m is included.

£100m I actually hope that is true I'd love them to spend their entire budget on him.

I see they've got Sunderland away next, that might actually be a bit tricky for them. It looks trickier now than it did a couple of days ago anyway.

This was meant to be their piss easy start and their march to the top of the league again.

Now they'll be bricking it about not beating Sunderland and being in the bottom three.

                                Welcome back to reality
