Long may it continue. I'm loving every single moment while it lasts.

the voicing of discontent by the little ginger ankle biter may be the thin end of the wedge, maybe the rest of the kids from the class will be murmuring soon.

Ferguson got the best out of them. Moyes failed to do so. Now they look to be lost cause.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostYes, but they came seventh last year and they've lost important players and all the other teams above them have strengthened. The only real difference is that they have a different manager, but I think their team is so poor that it wouldn't make any difference who was managing them. Maybe Moyes was getting the best out of a **** bunch of players? They need eight or nine quality players to be competing for top four again, they have just over a week to do it.
Gill was the deal maker. Woodward is seemingly a deal breaker.
To lose Ferguson was unfortunate. To lose Gill at the same time was disastrous. They are in a terrible state.
Oh I don't know.

Ferguson did get the best out of them, but in his last season it was obvious that the team was on the wane and he did nothing to address the problems. They should never have won the league during that season, other teams just failed to perform. I do think that referees feared Ferguson and they did get many decisions in their favour the result being that they amassed many more points than they should have. It's history now anyway, no manager will ever again have such influence over the officials. Since it became a level playing field United have been exposed and it's going to take them years to fix.
