                                            You'd have to hope Allardyce will be asked about the leaflet and will hopefully make the point that the leaflet actually backed up the point he made about them being a long ball team. That should set Van Gaal off nicely.

                                                As far as I can tell he has always been this type of mental. I think if they give him time he'll put in place an excellent base for long term success. Think he will struggle for a while yet though as he hasn't come up with an oviously effective formula to build confidence after a period of crisis at his club (unlike say Pochettino at Spurs or Koeman and Southampton).
