Currently things arent going too well which is glorious. I dont know why van gaal is using the tactics that he is. But he wont be there forever. Probably 1 more season max. The problem is when they get a manager who doesnt do the hoofball and uses the players to their strengths. 100mill+ a year for someone like that will be very good for them. And I think Maria and Shaw will end up being very good for them. Later of course. But yeah, its definitely not doom and gloom for the foreseeable future unfortunately. We'll be having far more issues than them. Financially at least.

Oh how times have changed. Remember when their fans were convinced Ronaldo was resigning and they were getting Kroos.

                      Check one of the replys

@Carra23 They'd have to cough up around 50-60 mil for him. A potential deal involving Bale would be likely

i think that could happen, but what is De Gea worth with a year left and whats Bale worth now he is not doing so well?

Radamel Falcao’s struggle for form resulted in his selection for Manchester United Under-21s against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening, but the striker failed to make an impact and he was substituted after 71 minutes.

The Colombian looked disappointed to be taken off by the coach, Warren Joyce, though this may have been a precaution to ensure he is available when Spurs play United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Falcao’s debut for the U21s was also at home and although he partnered James Wilson in attack, the forward again turned in a sluggish unconvincing display. The 29-year-old twice inadvertently blocked a goal-bound shot - before and after the break - while his touch could be clumsy.

Falcao’s inclusion was the latest indication he is fighting to convince Louis van Gaal that Monaco should be paid the £43m fee required to make him a permanent acquisition, as he is currently on a season-long loan from the French club.

Falcao has been an unused replacement in United’s past two games. In the 1-0 win at Newcastle United Van Gaal opted to bring on Michael Carrick as his third substitute on 88 minutes when the game was still goalless.

In Monday’s 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-final, the manager again declined to turn to Falcao after the Danny Welbeck 61st-minute strike that proved the winner. At that point Van Gaal had one substitute remaining and he opted for Andan Januzaj after 73 minutes.

Fellow first-team players Rafael Da Silva – who scored for United with a 30-yard left-foot lob to make the score 1-1 – and Victor Valdés were also in the XI to face Spurs on Tuesday evening. Falcao now has the final 10 matches of United’s season to impress his manager. He has scored only four times since joining on 1 September, and is yet to hit the back of the net in 2015.

That rug really tied the room together.
