I'm not doubting that for a minute with United and we should have been there as well if Freddy Boswell had of bothered to do what was right for the club in the 90's rather than sipping champers, travelling on the team bus to away games and employing Lionel Richie .

FSG have done some fantastic stuff for the club and you only have to walk through Stanley park to see that. I just wish that they would get rid of the committee and either allow the manager to pick the players or get a DOF in.

As for Ayre I'd have him running the corporate side of the club but keep him away from player recruitment and negotiations.
