Van Gaal is actually hilarious. I'd imagine he's the type of guy gets pissed drunk, stands naked in his garden with a bottle of whiskey in one hand and a revolver in the other & he just shouts up at the sky. Mike Smalling!!!!!!!

Bloke doesn't know what the **** he's saying now, back tracking on saying they are about to sign a striker, blaming the media for starting rumours, regardless of the fact he spoke the words!

What with Adidas taking over the kit on August 1, I wonder what influence (if any) they had with the purchase of Schweinsteiger?

He's already sponsored by them, as is Germany, so he's bound to help market the new United shirts to the 80 million Germans.

It wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility that Adidas have contributed directly to the transfer fee.

                    £13m loss for 1 season.

                    Fantastic business.

Not bad all things considered - Di Maria expected to join PSG last summer, he gets robbed in Manchester instead.

Is that a loss in the region of £15m in one season?

Glad he's gone. Potential to be devastating if he gets his head right. Rather they stick with Depay and Young.

At least we had the decency to lose £18m on Carroll over a few seasons. They blew theirs in 1 season.
