Smalling is injured. Darmian went off earlier injured. The whole Utd defence was built around Smalling's pace and strength against big strikers. Did a good job on Benteke for a start didn't he? Or was it Gestede?

Anyway, Blind is up ****'s creak without a boat now that Smalling is not there to make him look good. A bit like Demichellis without Kompany. Schweinsteiger banned means if Carrick is put in defence then there's no one decent in the middle.

Bournemouth have to be looking to score 2 or 3 goals on the weekend. Their possession football is up to it.

As much as I'd like to see United properly tumbled, I get the feeling that a change of manager would, much like us with Klopp, see their talented squad improve significantly. They're playing with LVG shackles which is stifling any creativity.

What is Ancelloti's record like at a clubs that needs building up? Weren't there murmurs that he didn't fancy us because of the building job?

Utd are in full need of an overhaul. Money can't buy you everything, not in one summer. Just ask Moyes and LvG. Even Klopp is struggling with our squad despite it being less injury prone now.
