True but they've not won the last four game with 2 draws and 2 defeats.

Hopefully they'll manage enough to ensure the Mancs miss out again

De Gea was rubbish on the winner.

      Mignolet would have saved that

One would think after today their **** fans would sing and mock west ham for the bus and everything. But they'll still be belting out the gerrard song at random games.

LvG to get the sack now? I hope not!

What I do hope for is for De Gea to leave for Madrid, City to go through the qualification stage which means being back right after the Euros.

I wonder if teams like West Ham, Southampton and Leicester can repeat this season's form into the next?

They've only scored 46 league goals this season

Meanwhile, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has been spotted having lunch with former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson in London, sparking speculation the Argentine could be heading for Old Trafford this summer. (Daily Mirror)LINK

That one would be a worry.

Yup not sure whether he'd jump after getting them to 2nd/3rd in the league and a chance to manage in the CL for at least a season.

Fancy after next season it could well happen though

He's just signed a new contract with Spurs so not gonna happen this year. I guess it could happen when Van Gaal leaves next year.
                        Are we winning?

Contracts dont really mean much nowadays though. Its to protect both the player and club. It might have been him signing to get a clause inserted to go to a club like Utd more freely.

Suarez signed a new 5 year deal and then left 6 months later.

The state of their squad in the video with Lingard laughing like the inbred looking cunt that he is. I'd have expected that from us under Rodgers. They are seriously lacking characters in there.

Hopefully Utd are trying to placate both him and the Utd fans by possibly agreeing a contract to start after LvG's term ends in 2017. The board can save payout money by not sacking LvG, get fans off their backs, keep Fergie/Moore happy by not entertaining Mourinho and not pssing off Spurs toooo much in the process.

If that's the case Utd will have fallen further behind Conte/Klopp/Pep in terms of getting the new manager's players in and having them settled. And I don't rate Poch higher than Rodgers - he just hit a perfect storm this season like Rodgers did, except Rodgers was pipped by a rip roaring team...not Leicester.
                                One tit for another.
