He should have been jailed for the eye gouge. Now it's time.

The thing is as it is his first offence he won't go to jail.

It's crazy the law over there.

Ronaldo's charge is much more serious than Messi's (hence why he's thrown his toys out the pram) but even he probably won't go down and will just get a fine.

Ronaldo will move to England once the Conservatives take us out of the European Arrest Warrant. He can hide over hear safe from extradition

In all seriousness, this won't go down well - Numerous clauses on full disclosure etc, etc when he became manager.
Part of the issues before he became Man U boss was image rights between Madrid / Chelsea and them.

Just caught a bit of this on SSN. Apparently his agent made his tax return public to show he'd paid everything due. Whether he had or he hadn't who knows but the document showed he was earning €19m a year at RM

A tax return should always show that yo have paid the correct tax. The problem is you it only proves you paid tax on the income you declare and the allegation is he did not declare it all.

I get all that mate, he was hardly going to say he hadn't paid the right amount. It's the figure he was getting which I find slightly staggering. Well more than slightly. Even those know everything folk from the world of "sky sources" were a bit taken aback.

I once saw areport on a Greek plastic surgeon, he drove a Ferrari, lived in a huge house, swimming pool etc but was fully paid up on his 16000 Euros income.
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

He probably wrote the rest off as expenses or equipment for his private business

I once knew someone who wrote a full set of scuba diving equipment off against his company taxes. He wrote them down as protective suit and breathing aparatus

I know of a chap that received a dressing gown as a gift from Bill Oddie. Oddie included the receipt so it could be exchanged if necessary. This chap submitted the receipt in a tax return.
