Right just googled it. So they changed their home kit this season - the socks are different colour too (I didn't notice that).

But who the **** changes their shirt and sock colour on their home kit?

Imagine if we did that there would be a riot - and rightly so.

I think it's a bit knowing now. Clicked on his aftermatch livestream after spurs and he had put a framed Alan picture on the end of the desk.

WTF is going on over there? I mean, the central defence is ****, so obviously Jose had a point in wanting to sign a center half. So if they sack him now it's a bit unfair really, just a tiny bit really. Now this? So surely he is going to be sacked soon and the board is practically saying as much :haha
                  * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

...I want Jose to stay until at least 5pm on the 15th Dec.

Happily watch him go after that.

He did sign Bailey and Lindelöf for about £30m each, left Lindelof on the bench and didn't include Bailey in the squad, favouring smalling and a midfielder. Not being given a huge wedge to blow on yet more second rate centre backs is somewhat understandable, especially as he's slowly going bonkers.

                          This is a tough one

Nobody knows what the board have actually said

Remember their defence was pretty good last year, looking from the outside in you would probably say their fullbacks needed looking at

I think the problems are much bigger than just picking out the centreback positions

They are utter bilge to watch, they dont press, their midfield lacks creativity, they lack pace as well despite having players who are quick

Its a whole systemic breakdown for me, and they lack a clear direction or philosophy

Last year Mourinho spent £70-80m on 2 centrehalves. now he wants to spend at least that same amount again on another new recruit. The big question for me is why didnt he buy Maguire last summer instead of Lindelof or Bailly and why didnt he target Maguire before the World Cup

Then we have signings like Sanchez, that just smacks of signing somebody to stop another club having him

Their recruitment has been terrible but its not just the players they have signed the general recruitment itself seems too haphazard and without any clear plan

It almost seems as though they say lets sign X, ok where we gonna play him. Well **** knows but hes a good player

Mourinho is all about the short term here and now, when has he ever coached a player to be better than they were before ? He brings in expensive 27-29 year olds to suit his system rather than look to improve who he has available

It does feel a little like his last season with Chelsea, takes no responsibility for the failings of his team whatsoever, blames anyone and everyone he can as to why things aren’t working out without the self awareness to realise this is his team and it’s what he’s put together for a considerable amount of money over the past couple of seasons.

                            Pogba
                            Lindelof
                            Bailly
                            Fred
                            Sanchez
                            Matic
                            Mickey Ryan
                            Lukaku
                            Dalot

I mean it’s not as if he’s not been backed and backed well. His go to player seems to be bog brush and feckin launch it but the football they play is just awful to watch and I can’t imagine what it’s like to work for the prick, demoralising doesn’t really cover it

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho used his pre-Burnley press to once again boast about his achievements.

Mourinho launched into a rant on the back of United’s 3-0 home defeat to Spurs on Monday night by bragging about winning more Premier League titles than all other current Prem managers combined.

“I am the manager of one of the greatest clubs in the world but I am also one of the greatest managers in the world,” Mourinho told reporters.

“Did you read any philosopher or in your information you never spent time reading Hegel? Just as an example Hegel says the truth is in the whole, is always in the whole…

“Do you ask that question to the manager that finished third in the Premier League or fourth? To the manager who finished fifth.

When told that Jurgen Klopp had been asked that, Mourinho responded: “Because he never win anything in international for example… I tell you what I think, how he feels. And I answer you the question. That’s easy. I had last season great success.

“I had great success last season that’s what you probably don’t want to admit. I analyse my performance, myself and for me is more important what I think than what you think.

“I repeat that two seasons ago we had a fantastic season by winning the Europa League, this season and last everybody thought Atletico Madrid was amazing because they won the Europa League after being knocked out of the Champions League.

“We won Europa League because that was our level. We are the last team in England to win a European trophy. And last season, I repeat, I won eight titles, I am the only manager in the world that won in Italy, Spain and England and by winning eight titles – not small titles or countries – my second position last season is one of my greatest achievements in football.”
