None of Lineker, Hargreaves, Owen or even Ferdinand thought it was a pen. Because it is 100% never ever a pen. It’s not a deliberate hand ball.Originally posted by Fredo View PostThe ball hit his arm even if it looks harsh. We would have been all over this if it were us. The ref had to give it IMO.
If we got given that we’d be lucky as **** and we’d know it.Modifying post.

But these fellas follow the laws that are written by other men in suits. This new interpretation of handball is ridiculous but refs are there to implement this ****.Originally posted by McDermotX View PostUnbelievable, ex PL ref agrees with decision.
Game is finished.
Even three ex-ManU players are saying it's bull****.
Fair ****s to the likes of Rio who called it out for what it is, ridiculous.

They got lucky I get that. But with that team out to get any sort of result is impressive. The last 20 odd years have taught me every time you think they are down and out they come back. We have a habit of losing when it gets serious. I've seen it before when we smashed them 4 1 and it was a changing of guard yet they came back again.Originally posted by Buzzo View Post
Jesus Bob. This is negative even by your standards.
How does this result effect our result?
The decision tonight was a ****ing joke, any team will win games getting those given as pens.
Hopefully they win **** all and finish 5th. Regardless their fans believe. Their tails are up. They'll start next season confident.
We need to get the monkey off our backs otherwise we'll be known as bottlers regardless of whether that's the case.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I actually burst out laughing. Just one of the most ridiculous decisions I've seen in the game. PSG were ****, delighted them and Madrid out it's brilliant.
United got away with murder today, Buffon gift and then that farce at end but they were also decimated and gave Psg **** all. Please let them get City in the next round.

Aye that's true.Originally posted by Fredo View PostOn the plus side, it's not a bad thing that these corrupt ****s got dumped. I won't have to suffer Neymar's insufferable face for the remainder of the season.

It is impressive given their injuries, and no denying they have been doing well. And we will also likely require a favour from them in a few weeks, so maybe it’s good for us their tails are up?Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostThey got lucky I get that. But tonight’s result is ridiculous, if the ref had risen at the far post and knocked it in himself it would have been about the same.Modifying post.

Yeah, Neymar and Ramos both getting bundled out whilst watching from the stands is pretty sweet.Originally posted by Fredo View PostOn the plus side, it's not a bad thing that these corrupt ****s got dumped. Oh and I won't be watching any football next year when VAR arrives.
It's a joke. It ruins games. It's ****ed up and whoever thinks it's good for the game should go **** themselves with a dead badger.
It will make a mockery just as it has tonight and in the cup and abroad.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
