A leisurely favourite for meOriginally posted by Snigger View PostThere have been so many highlights this season for LFC fans, one that is right up there is watching the cluster **** Manu have made of themselves since Fergie left.

Herrera off to PSG it seems. Because United dawdled too long in making him an offer.
Ander Herrera to leave Man Utd at end of season - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48237568Oh I don't know.

Think it's a bit of that but also the millstone they've saddled themselves with in Sanchez's wages. Herrera is a horrible little cunt but he does give his all - and yet he's had to watch Sanchez sitting on his arse taking home double what he does.Originally posted by dom9 View PostHerrera off to PSG it seems. Everyone knew what would happen after United offered Sanchez around £400k a week and a £75k appearance bonus (!!!). How could Woodward not see it? The likes of De Gea and others all want huge pay hikes. The ineptitude, alongside the mindblowing sums of money, is amazing and totally incongruous. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The gift that just keeps on giving.
It's like every time they are faced with a decision, they pick the wrong option.
Reminds me of the Sideshow Bob clip when he's stepping on endless rakes.Oh I don't know.

But from a Man Utd perspective he was at least one of their players who gave a **** so it weakens them in my view

It was the City factor wasn't it ?
They just had to have him in order to look like they were competing, and were willing to do a deal that even City wouldn't sanction (or even have to ability to hide in one of their funny financial accounts).

I wonder how serious City's interest in him really was were they desperate to sign him but not desperate enough to pay that, in which case they dodged a bullet, or did they just sucker Man Utd into a crazy deal because United were so desperate to get one over on them.Originally posted by McDermotX View PostIt was the City factor wasn't it ?

From what I heard, they expected a little fallout, but no where near what happened. Jose sanctioned the transfer, salary, etc, etc, despite reservations from the board, given the hatred towards the board WW against his own judgement backed Jose.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostThink it's a bit of that but also the millstone they've saddled themselves with in Sanchez's wages. They knew Pogba's salary would get hiked and they expected DeGea also, but the rot set it and everyone wanted apiece of. the pie especially when he wasn't delivering or playing.
Trying to fend off salary hikes and contract extensions has now become the norm, probably the first time in a long time where Utd need to sell before they can buy.I make no apologies, this is me
