The one thing Liverpool has taught PL teams (you're all welcome by the way) is how to master the low block game. Keep it tight, concentrate for 90 minutes and rely on VAR this season to not treat all minimal contact as Utd penalties.

Plus, have one pacy striker (ala Ings) to grab that break away goal yourselves. Let's see Sancho enjoying these tactics.

Varane to United would be some signing for them. I thought he was angling for a new deal with Madrid but lot of stuff floating abut that he is close to agreeing personal terms with the mancs.

It looks like he has been completely stitched up there to be honest. Though as mentioned how he gets himself caught in these situations is ridiculous.

They've got a decent side for next season. I know Pogba is off but he never did it for them anyway, and it'll probably improve them. Going to be tough given how far ahead City were. We need a replacement for Gini and hope that everyone starts firing again.

£35m seems low for a player of his quality?

Year left on his contract I think and on pretty high wages. I guess Real need the cash and reduced wage bill.

It makes sense for Real, I think they’re struggling a bit with the wage cap and selling him now rather than letting him for for free next summer gives them some wriggle room.

Varane and Maguire in defence. Not so much pace there.
                                Are we winning?
