    Alexis

    Ronaldo

That said I think Alexis and Ronaldo would probably have done much better at City than Utd. Maguire is on the other hand just ****.

The Glazier’s brought Placcy back to boost the share price. Then they sold a large chunk of their cash cow

Yeah I think he's overrated. He's better than they've had recently, but nothing special. Their problems run deeper than just their manager anyway.

The only benefit that I can see him bringing to United is that he might be able to attract Kane there. Maybe?? I am not sure if Kane got on well with Pochetino but I am guessing that he did.

But in reality, Kane should go to City instead if that was still an option to him - if he wanted to win trophies that is.

He (and Kane) will cement Utd in that 3-6 position.

They require yet another annual overhaul Hope they sign the likes of Dembele who will fit into that 'overrated/bad attitude/past it/injured' transfer area that they seem keen to mine.

We are the club and support best placed to know what it feels like to be on the outside looking in.

Would Kane join if they're not in the Champions League? He is running out of time to win the big trophies and there's not much hope of doing that at United. (feels great to type that )

Hope they get Poch, before Tuchel becomes available! With all that’s going on at chelsea, I wonder will he try to get out. If he did, united would go after him I reckon, and spin the whole “he is a student of the rangnick philosophy” side to it. If they did get him, I’d be somewhat worried that they might become contenders again.

I agree to an extent. United should deffo have sacked Ole a year before they did and go after Tuchel.

The issue that they have now is the fact that they have a load of players on big contracts who are not going to get anywhere near that at any other club. So if Tuchel thinks that he could get a song out of the likes of Maguire, Fred, Shaw, Varane, Wan Bissaka etc, then he'd be a no-brainer for them. But if Tuchel thinks the squad isn't good enough, then they are screwed. Either way, the Glazers will need to spunk another 150m+ to make them competitive again
