In all seriousness, I know it has its issues with the leaky roof or whatever, but how exactly is the stadium to blame for the football being ****e (even in away games)?

They’re so entitled- spurs just built a new state of the art stadium, we should have one too! What an attitude
In fairness OT was a world class stadium 20 years ago, They have done absolutely **** all to it in the last 20 years. Kitchens are failing, carpets are rotting, doors don't fit, lifts don't work, air con fails daily, roofs leaking, wifi ****ed, seats literally hanging off. Surpises me they get safety certificates these days.
It needs a really good refit, Tons fd corporate seats leaving in droves, they are beginning to struggle to refill - Latter end of last season they struggled to fill.
I make no apologies, this is me

      It wasn't just their fans.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

All fair points- not that I know, all I’ve heard about was the leaky roof. I was at a game there a few years ago, with a manc friend, and didn’t experience any of those things.

I can understand them saying they should have a new shiny stadium, for the fans experience or whatever… but still don’t see why this is even being talked about when trying to explain why they’re not performing on the pitch- de gea can’t catch the ball cos there’s no wifi at old trafford? Haha

They still have the biggest stadium in the premier league- just a bunch of entitled cunts who think they deserve the very best of everything.

They back the managers in terms of money spent, but I’m not sure they actually give sufficient authority to the managers. I don’t think let managers get rid of players if there is a financial hit, Ralf suggested that he wasn’t given authority to ditch underperforming players, change the captain etc, and looking at their starting lineup this season, it seems like the new manager has suffered the same over the summer. No way he wants Ronaldo in his side, de Gea and Maguire are also totally wrong for his style. Somebody else is making the decisions. Darren Fletcher is technical director ffs.

He wanted Ziyech and UNited wont sanction it. Another ETH ex player.

Seems to me he is only trying to get players he knows as he has to change the mentailty and that is not high up on the Scouts lists when looking for players.

Obviously it is difficult to truly know what goes on behind the scenes but I think one thing FSG have done remarkably well whatever you think out their financial backing to Klopp is they got the backroom team right. Scouting, Fitness, Nutritionists, Psychologists etc etc. United seem to think they can throw money at the problems and they will fix themselves.

Hopefully they keep making that same mistake.

I don't think anyone is disputing that they aren't great owners, but they have about a £1bn net spend since Ferguson left and they have a couple of domestic cups to show for it. In regards of investment in the playing squad they can't complain. The issue is that money has been badly spent, you can make the argument that the owners haven't put the footballing infrastructure in place but they have appointed some big name managers Mourinho and van Gaal, I think they have to accept that the Ferguson era was a good one for them and accept that they can't always be at that level. They always went on about our unrealistic expectations and a supposed belief we had a devine right to be at the top of the game, they need to accept that they don't have it either.

There may be issues with the owners but they still have it better than most clubs in terms of finances to buy players and pay wages, if they were successful on the pitch they wouldn't be making all this fuss.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

You would have thought that someone would realise that throwing money in the transfer market is not working.

FSG had a vision, And have built a 2nd to none infastructure....Its not Rocket surgery,

the United heirachy are like the TOries all out for themselves and in it for what they can bleed out of the supporters. NO-one gives a ****

Personally I think that the Glazers should be commended for trying to make the facilities of the stadium match the quality of the football on the pitch.

His comments yesterday were farcical. United have spent ****loads on dross due to not having any football plan whatsoever and changing managers every two minutes. Yes, the owners aren’t great but they have backed every manager to the hilt. Neville is a churlish cunt sometimes and yesterday was peak dickhead.
