Doesn't matter he doesn't suit the way they want to play. Ten Haag wants to press hig and Varane is ill suited to this type of football, together with Maguire and a lot of others in that team. Sanchez does suit the style, but probably needed a few games before starting in the PL.

It's not a weird situation, we've had it under Hodgson and Kenny (second time), when some players the manager inherited weren't a good fit. It will take a bit of time (if he gets it) to ship them out. But then, their whole structure is disjointed and with no consistency and continuity in their football operations.

He's not crap & it's nothing got to do with style, he was world class CB his whole career. The problem with him is that his body has pretty much gave up on him & they won't be able to rely on him to stay fit.
