hmmm, I've heard the opposite, Every away game will be chants about him, and not in the finest sense either. From what I've heard its not been decided and bugger all has been leaked, even he doesn't know. But I think there is probably something more at play here. Essentially he is an asset they have, and cannot probably terminate the contract without going through the process of investigating (This is what I hope anyway)
I dont think its "can we get away with playing him" as such. More "how do we release this guy without spending £££ more on his contract"
He wont ever play for Utd again I dont think. Maybe protecting their asset/value with his contract.*Except Michael, who died.
