I agree with you 100%, this should be behind closed doors stuff and ETH threw him under a bus. From a football perspective anything that makes United suffer is great but from a human perspective it’s not good for Sancho. I read Dortmund gave him “special” treatment, he had a minder and a mentor within the squad. He also had some issues there but it never got out

Of course it never got out, they were protecting their asset. I'm sure Klopp was well connected enough to be in the know, not that we'd have sanctioned his 350k/wk wages.

Sancho definitely seems like a wrong-un but he might just be one of those footballers who doesn't actually like the game but is happy to coin it in.

          Nah, not having that.

He went to Germany at a young age in order to develop his game and get regular first team action.

Had he been happy to coin it in he'd have stayed at Citeh and not bothered.

United are the totally wrong club for him. They've thrown the lad under the bus.

Regardless. Klopp knew there was issues. Bullet. Dodged.

Kicked off in public after the manager slagged him off in public and divulged person details. Absolutely right to call out the manager for that ****.

The manager was asked why he wasn’t in the match squad, the manager said because of his performance in training. What is wrong with that’s, is he supposed to make up some injury or something? The kid’s trouble, and ****. He would have left the club if the club hadn’t given him a silly contract and refused to cut their losses, same as Maguire.

All ETH had to say was I don’t discuss individual players situations publicly. Just because they ask him a question does not mean you need to answer it & in the process throw the kid under the bus.

Rangnick laid bare the culture at the club, the ****ty attitudes of players, the cliques, the ill discipline and the cowardice of the club, ETH has no choice but to go to war on it if he’s got any hope of succeeding there. The lad is on 350k a week, underperforms and doesn’t put the effort in during the week, the manager pussyfooting around it only serves sancho’s interests, and if we had a similar situation I’d want klopp to call a cunt a cunt too.

That’s not how motivation works though is it. No one will take Sancho at £350k pw so they are going to take a huge hit in the pocket on him & pointing out his attitude sucks won’t help the club either. I’m happy about that but it could have been handled better imo.

It's interesting that Sancho hasn't been fined at all. So if he was, say persistently late or did something genuinely disruptive, then the club could have fined him.

No matter what way you disect this, it is such terrible management by Ten Hag. They basically have a young player that is talented who he hasn't been able to get a song out of. That's bad enough but he has actually doubled down and effectively wiped 10s of millions off that assets value.

And just at the same time, their 90m alternative guy went all rapey and has been told to stay the **** away as well. You genuinely couldn't mame this up ha ha. Harchester United don't have a patch on them

he certainly didn’t motivate him anyway, haha.

I really can’t understand what he was hoping to achieve by calling him out publicly like that. If he thought it would motivate him, he clearly doesn’t know him, based on how Sancho reacted.

If he hadn’t called him out, I’m sure he’d have been back in the squad against Brighton, with Antony away- but ten hag has backed himself into a corner, where he can’t blink first.

But, this is all Joel Glazer’s fault
