    Sorry yeah somehow missed Villa.

And you still have a decent West Ham team and the possible improvement (surely they can't be this bad forever) of Chelsea.

Basically it hard to see them finishing much higher than their current position of 8th!

Hojlund does look another massive flop.

Rashford is the only one that looks a threat, but his finishing is poor.

Honestly top 4 this year looks a massive ask. The current top 4 are way better than them, and you'd back Newcastle and Brighton to potentially hold them off too.

      Long may it continue
Rashford has played like a competition winner this year. Gonna struggle to hit that 40 goals he predicted in preseason.

Saw someone say this yesterday but can't find it now - relative to their last league title/our last league title at the time, United now are at the point we won our cup treble in 2001. They called it a Mickey Mouse treble and tried to laugh at us. Imagine if they won a treble now - we'd never hear the end of it. You had pundits calling Ten Hag the best coach in the world after a fluke Carabao Cup win last season (their run to the final was Villa at home, Burnley at home, Charlton at home and Forest in the semis )

Yep, made worse by Rodri going to ground as if he'd just had his legs taken

I'd like to see players get yellow cards when they are exaggerating to this extent.

Definitely different starting points but the point stands that they're signing their poorest players in decades. Of course they could sign worse in the future and thus they'll enter a new PFK period!

                  Wow.

Their top scorers are Casemiro with 4 and Scott McTominay with 3.

Then Hojland 3 (all Euro) and Penandes with 2. Rashford currently smashing them in at a rate of 1 every 1095 mins

It's obvious that the reason for that is our hit rate with transfers is so good people were utterly desperate to have a pop at one of our big money buys - only chance they'd had for years bar maybe Keita. They spunk so much money on dross that it's just the norm.

The funny thing is they pivoted from Kane to this donkey.

And they also did us a massive favour landing Mount.

It is great to see the Danish media going from raving about Højlund, when they signed him to now when they can't seem to find more excuses for his lack of goals.

Graveyard for players. I think Mount would have thrived under Klopp ( Think we have better than him now anyway)

I didn't realise how much he's spent. According to Transfermarkt he's spent over £390M in transfers and loan fees.

Crazy amount of money to be left with the squad they've got. I'm sure Neville will still be going on about the manager needs backing

Nev's moved on from 'manager not getting backing' to the fact that the turmoil surrounding the club being sold/not sold must be destabilising to the manager and his staff and therefore will also impact the players. So basically, it's still the Glazers' fault, but he can't blame them for not spending money, but can blame them for something else instead.
