I still find it odd that they haven’t been able to resolve the Rashford situation or move him on. They already know they’ll be paying 80% of his wages, but that’s still better than 100% and having a toxic atmosphere around the place.

And the reason Utd dominated the 90s and 00s is that there was only ever one challenger, be it Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle or Us but never a whole host of clubs. I've not looked but I'm betting their average points total in all of their winning seasons is less than 85pts

85.46, bang on 85 if you take out the 42 game seasons.

Man Utd at risk of PSR breach, club tell fans

No idea why they are treated differently.

Under the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules (PSR), clubs can lose up to £105m over three years.

"If we do not act now, we are in danger of falling to comply with PSR/FFP requirements," the club said in the letter.

"We are currently making a significant loss each year - totalling over £300m in the past three years. This is not sustainable.

The brown paper bags are still being delivered to head office. Once INEOS cancels them things might get real

They had a few sub 80 point title wins during that period

                        They also had a 91 and a 90. A 92 too but that was in a 42 match season so doesn't count.

They were some team back in the day, towards the end of Fergies reign though they survived on rep, bribes and fear.

Mad to look back and see they won a title in the 90's with 75 points, last season Villa got 76 and finished 4th.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

There's an argument that the league must've been closer as the points they lost were shared out

Can't be long before Martinez actually connects with one of his 2 footed jumps and gets sent off. Quite surprised VAR never interjects, cos the intent is quite clear.
