New Zealand Rugby is taking legal action against INEOS. They have accused them of breaching their sponsorship deal.
INEOS agreed a 6-year deal to become their official performance partner until 2027, but have FAILED to pay the first instalment.
The Telegraph has reported that Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS, who signed a six-year partnership with the All Blacks is now being taken to court for not paying the first instalment of the sponsorship deal for 2025.

Seeing Amorim's post match interview just now, I think he's almost happy to be losing every week, in order to prove himself right.
It's a bit like watching an internet contrarian managing a football club.
I can't tell whether it's refreshing or idiotic.
I wonder how long he'll last.Oh I don't know.

Well we've got our transfer committee guys to thank for not employing him for usOriginally posted by dom9 View PostSeeing Amorim's post match interview just now, I think he's almost happy to be losing every week, in order to prove himself right.

In reality, this whole mainstream argument that "he doesn't have the players to play his system" is ****in idiotic. He has a relatively large squad and although thwy have bought really poorly, they're a lot lot wotze now than under Ten Hag. And they were ****in **** under Ten Hag
They have been so so **** in the transfer market. Their handling of Rashford epitomises that. The guy is on 375k per week so Ruben basically bombs him out and tells the world that he would rather play hos goalie coach
it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that united will be subsidising Rashfords wages for the foreseeable...... Forget about a transfer fee.
****in hilarious all round and probably thw worst run organisation in world sport considering the level of investment made

The latter when you are meant to be leading a group and you act like that publically.
You really want to be showing how good you are by getting a tune out of what was foisted upon you so you can, behind doors, say "Now imagine what I could do with actual quality" to your highers ups.
Shocking lack of personal pride and will to win being shown by the man imo.
Moved to a tougher league, found out it was indeed tougher and that the players he has are not capable of just rolling over the majority of the league so went straight into pass the buck mode.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness

I can only imagine that the **** he has been coming out with is in an attempt to convince the owners that he needs money and alot of it in the summer, and I suspect that he feels he might not be backed in the transfer market as much as he had been expecting. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If the manager doesn't rate the current squad why is he forcing his 3 - 4 - 3 formation onto players who won't be at the club in 18 months time
Why not be pragmatic implement a formation that suits the current squad and then introduce your desired style when you have brought in your own players.

He's definitely playing some kind of game. It's an unusual approach to put it mildly.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI can only imagine that the **** he has been coming out with is in an attempt to convince the owners that he needs money and alot of it in the summer, and I suspect that he feels he might not be backed in the transfer market as much as he had been expecting.Oh I don't know.

Had this exact conversation yesterday, what on earth is he doing. If is not working with the current squad, why on earth persist? He very well might be out of a job if keeps it up.Last edited by danperkins; 17-02-25, 12:16 PM.

I reckon Amorim wants out. The reality of the situation clearly far worse than he expected.
I dunno if it’s because he is managing this catastrophic situation, but I quite like him
his honesty around how **** they are is amusing considering the aspirations they have. He’s not doing a good job or anything, they are very poor and it’s hard to see a way out of it for them
but the problems they al have just keep on mounting up.
How they have such a poor and weak squad given the levels of investment is staggering. And players that leave them are flourishing I see Antony has scored 3 in 4 at Betis and Scott McTominay continues to flourish at Napoli.Modifying post.
