Widely reported that if West Ham gain promotion his wages balloon to £55k a week.

    Madness.

Its West Ham, how can they be that stupid? 55k a week for an unproven 19 year old? Jesus.

Maybe they think that if they give him enough cash, he won't pilfer so much from his colleagues.
          Oh I don't know.

obviously don't fancy staying in the prem for to long, they will probably need better players to stay up and if they are spunking money away to youngsters it must be eating away at the budget

All he has to do is behave and be proffesional for six months, and he`ll be set for life. So it all looks rosy for him. The thing is that all he had to do for the scum was doing the same thing. If they saw any hope in him becoming a good player they would have given him a raise allready.

i think he would have had to have shown a better attitude for a top team to have put their faith in him. it'd be no good signing a lad with great potential, only to see him in the nick/re-hab/etc 6-12 months later, and how all that bollox could drag down the rest of the team.

some people are so gifted that they think they no longer have to try, think anyone who says something about their poor attitude is jealous and they end up carrying a massive chip around until it buries them.

I find that very hard to believe

(Scumbaggery aside for the moment) The guy's done nothing in the game of any note, and would be in no position to demand anything. The lack of any other clubs jumping in should tell us how he is seen from a risk/value point of view.
The only difficultly a club would have had was convincing ManU to sell............which in the end they were only too glad to by the looks of things, so that wasn't a problem in the end.

I dont think moving to that part of East London is what anyone needs

The former Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison has caused controversy after posting a homophobic threat on Twitter.

After being provoked on the networking site, West Ham United's January signing tweeted: "Crack head ? Go suck out u little faggot your a guy that talks if u see me you try slap me I'm in manchester every week." The tweet was later deleted.

West Ham have not commented, but a spokesman for the Justin Campaign, which aims to tackle homophobia in football, was reported as saying: "It's disappointing to hear that yet another professional footballer in England has used homophobic language."

That rug really tied the room together.
