We built our tactics totally around his pace.
I can understand that our managers felt the pressure to play him. We had probably the best young talent in the world and if the manager hadn't played him week in week out then he would have been blamed big time by us fans if we didn't won the games and because the results wasn't good enough then Owen had to play in almost every game.
We couldn't do what DBF do. They win games and because of that he can give the young players the time they need. Ronaldo being one example.

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a 

Liverpool fan but a very bad owner that didn't had a clue how to take care of the club.
