Putting aside our emotions about him for a moment, this is quite interesting and pretty much conforms to what many of us have observed about Owen over the years. There's definitely a lesson in it when we're considering throwing the likes of Stirling into first team football - another young player without a great deal of physical strength and whose game is very much based on pace.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostInteresting

I was only able to play without being compromised from 17 to 19. Huge sense of 'what if' but unfortunately my mind could but my body

couldn't cope with the demands of so much so young. Despite that, still think I've got enough in me to perform for another couple of years!

Yep. I'm convinced Wenger made the same error in overplaying Wilshere. Too much football too young and now he's a crock. You could see it coming.Originally posted by MrMichael View PostPutting aside our emotions about him for a moment, this is quite interesting and pretty much conforms to what many of us have observed about Owen over the years. Bitter mate saying talks today could be unveiled tomorrow...
Doubt he would sign for em, not because he has any scrupels - we know he is a cock faced dickwizard... I just cant see him settling for the wages they can afford - unless of course he takes a fat signing on fee from the Rodwell cash and lower wagesFootball without Origi is nothing
