    Cheeky bid for Casillas?

Was listening to Balague yesterday. This is Mourinho wanting to get sacked so he gets a pay-off. He has a £20m buy-out clause in his contract. Chelsea have to pay it if they want to appoint him manager. If Real sack him, he can walk with the pay-off. Chelsea don't want to pay the £20m. This is apparently why he referred to Perez as his friend the other day

I really don't like Mourinho to be honest. He has a huge ego. I don't think he has performed excellently at Real either, bearing in mind money spent. Just comes across as pretty hard work

I'd hate to have him as our manager. He is so dysfunctional it's unreal. He seems to fall out with players wherever he goes. Yeah he wins trophies and leagues, but his 'at any cost' attitude is ridiculous

He only ever sees to take a short term view as well. He doesn't care one iota about building a team for the future, just for the period whilst he is there.

I know some will argue that is what we need to do so that we can finally win the Premier League, but I think I'd rather build a team that can challenge for years to come than one that could possibly win the league as a one-off.

I quite like him. He plays the panto villain perfectly. Football needs people like him. Just dont let him anywhere near this club.

Agree totally with this. Look at the state of Inter Milan now? He will only ever go to clubs where he can spend shed loads of money on already established players in the peak of their careers. Get a good 2 or 3 years out of them, then move onto the next rich club.

For me, yeah he's won titles in different leagues but he won't be considered one of the greatest until he goes to develop a club, wins the title and leaves a legacy, with young players coming through etc

I don't think he's playing up anything. He really loves himself. It's pretty sickening, especially doing his tricks at a club as huge and historic as Real Madrid. The Chelsea fans and him deserve each other. Equally as annoying

It was apparently on a scaling down kind of deal if that makes sense.

£20m to start with when he signed with Real and that figure decreases every year he's been there, not sure what it would be at now though.

Ah yes. I might have missed that bit. Think he's at £12m at the moment
