In Hazard and Kante, I wonder if we'll see those players sticking with over the long haul.
well put. Sarri’s sides have room for a Hazard type player (in fairness most sides would) - look at Insigne under him at Napoli.
Kante is the interesting one - I watched the game vs City yesterday and he was getting praised yet I thought he was pretty average. He finds himself in positions/situations on the pitch that don’t suit his skill set and you can clearly see that.

And a youth player being assaulted last year...
Police are investigating allegations of an assault of a former Chelsea player.
It follows claims of racial abuse of young players in the 1970s, 80s and 90s, with one saying the club was "institutionally racist" when the incidents were said to have occurred.
A Metropolitan Police statement said: "Police received an allegation of non-recent racially aggravated assault in September 2018. Enquiries are ongoing.
"There are no arrests. We do not confirm who we have spoken to."
Earlier this year, following accusations of historical racial abuse at the club, Chelsea said they were taking the allegations "extremely seriously".Modifying post.

Christian Pulisic signs for Chelsea in £58m deal from Borussia Dortmund
The American will remain with the Bundesliga outfit for the rest of the season
Chelsea have signed Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund in a stunning £58million deal.
The American star will remain with the Bundelsiga outfit for the rest of the campaign before hooking up with the Blues in the summer.
"It was always Christian's dream to play in the Premier League. That certainly has to do with his American background, and as a result we were unable to extend his contract, " says BVB sporting director Michael Zorc.
"Against this background, we have decided to accept an extremely lucrative bid by Chelsea, given the low contract maturity.
