        That world class midfield trio.

        First one missed a pen
        Second one missed his tackle
        Third one missed the bus

Lampard must be getting ready for his next stint as caretaker at Chelsea.
Then come January their new manager can spend another 300 million on the new trendy players who’ve played well for the first part of this season.
De Zerbi will turn them down though.

                  Wow, that’s some impact.

These long contracts might help them with accountancy but they will **** them up on the pitch. There is a reason nobody else is following them on this loop hole.

Hahahha 24 vs 11- that record could last a long while yet.

It’s also because it might help now but it’s very risky down the line.

If these signings don’t work out, good luck shifting them easily.

Even by spreading out the amortisation effect longer, they will have to keep selling because of the volume they have brought players in at.

Case in point this summer, they got rid of some very good players who could have been very useful to still have around.

Is there midfield going to be better after getting rid of kovacic and mount, not necessarily. They’ve let a decent player in havertz go too because they wanted to play him at CF when he’s a much better midfielder.

Is Sanchez really much of an upgrade on Mendy or Kepa??

Add Kante and Loftus Cheek to that list of midfielders they lost this summer.

Had forgotten that Bakayoko left them this summer as well, mainly because I forgot he was still playing football.

They’ll get it together despite the mess of a squad because their manager is competent and will settle on a first 14, but there will be some very expensive unsettled players not getting game time. Keeping the dressing room in line will be tough.
