Amateur footage shows Chelsea football fans preventing a black man from boarding a Paris metro train shortly before the Champions League fixture between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday. The unidentified passenger attempts to squeeze on to the train, only to be pushed forcefully back on to the platform at the Richelieu-Drouot station. The fans then chant: 'We're racist, we're racist and that's the way we like it'

Utter scum.
It would be naive in the extreme to suggest they're the only fans capable of this. I've heard the most appalling abuse directed at blacks and Asians inside Anfield.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I've never heard or experienced a single word of racism inside Anfield, or in Liverpool City centre, but I agree that it would be naive to think it does not happen.Originally posted by wavydavy View Post

Chelsea have form though, and this is a part of their history in my eyes."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

Iv experienced racism at Anfield (directly outside to be exact, after full time).
Only the once however (Iv been about 20 times) and by one individual. Not by a whole group of them.

Should be easy enough to spot which fans were singing 'we're racist', and seeing as they admit it in puplic, it's only fair that they should be found and prosecuted as such! The lad that pushed the fella back when he tried to board the train can also be done for assault as well as being a ******.
Vile ****ers!
Hope french news speak the bloke, make a massive issue about it, and show Chelsea up for what they are! They have a real hard core of such cunts!Last edited by Vermilion; 18-02-15, 10:08 AM.

To be fair to Chelsea (owners) I don't think they want this element either. They can all expect their season tickets revoked.
As for Anfield, I went up once in 2006 - tour, game, city centre. Never seen such a warm and friendly place even though I was bricking it at night. Had no reason to. Felt like everyone was colour blind. One tit for another.

In my experience you're more likely to get stick for being a wool/oot than you are for your skin colour at Anfield. But then I'm white so what would I know! I have heard some ****e talk because I'm Irish and a day tripper etc but par for the course that, by and large everyone is welcome from what I've seen. Always some bellends knocking around, same as anywhere.

Yep totally agree. Iv had a lot more racism in Leeds pubs, than outside Anfield. The racism at Anfield was the first and last time.Originally posted by G View PostIn my experience you're more likely to get stick for being a wool/oot than you are for your skin colour at Anfield.
