I read a couple of articles saying that Mourinho's ban is seperate from the 1 suspended stadium ban he got a couple of weeks ago, I'm just wondering why has the suspended ban not been 'activated' (making this a 2 game ban)?

Don't these suspended bans only activate if the misconduct is pretty much exactly the same?

It's not like the card system on the pitch but rather a way of giving people a slap on the wrists without causing any actual damage to the league 'brand'.

Now the suspended ban has been activated. Any future punishment will have to be straight bans, with the amount of games increasing for each offence

Not sure about recent form fella. But the hard core of the Stoke team wont be something they will be looking forward too. Plus, the speed merchants they have on the flanks will cause the chavs numerous problems
