Unbelievably it's because of the M23 motorway!Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostIn what world is Palace and Brighton a ****ing derby? One is in east Sussex and the other is London ffs.

What a load of bollocks. A derby is two local teams and not two ****e teams at the end of a motorway in different counties. I spent 6 years living just outside Brighton and I can honestly say I've never heard of this so called derby.
Now that I've heard of this I want them both to get relegated.

I agree fully with your first paragraph and 66% with your second. Although Portsmouth/Southampton/Plymouth matches were always described the same way, along with Plymouth/Exeter. I suppose it's not always about proximity. They have obvious connections though, not sure about Palace and Brighton apart from being on the same train line.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostWhat a load of bollocks. We beat any two of West Brom, Stoke and Brighton and it's over anyway.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostPity they came back as it might give them some team spirit to try the next few games as if they had dropped points today I’d say they’d have faded for the rest of the season.
Burnley key away next which will be very tough if they aren’t up for the fight.

Of all the matches I've been to, definitely found the Chelsea supporters the worst.Originally posted by Oberon View PostJust had the misfortune to be sat next to 3 of this lot.
Managed to tick every negative box. Racism, sexism, violence and of course Hillsborough.
I don’t usually generally but this lot are scum
There was one hateful c*nt in particular, must have been in his 50's, there with his kid. He'd no interest in the match, just spent who match shouting abuse at home supporters. Made me miss most of the match too as I was watching, hoping somehow someone could get over and give him a kicking. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Two of these were in their 60s, only into their second can of Carling. Totally 1970s 1980s stereotypes. It was the worst kind of throwback.Originally posted by RedReet View PostOf all the matches I've been to, definitely found the Chelsea supporters the worst.
