fair play to wenger for turning things around! a lot of people were saying he had lost it and he should be sacked during the first part of the season! it looks like he is getting back to the old way of playing, now he just needs to buy some better players!

Pat Rice has jacked it in to be replaced by Steve Bould

I always thought Pat Rice looked like he'd borrowed one of Elton John's wigs.

Yeah, they got about things the 'right' way. Spend within their means and are still able to maintain a top 4 place.

It's just a shame Wenger's such a miserable ****er who can't take defeat gracefully.

by a distance. City are ok right now. But they will become tiring once they have won the league and spent another 1/2 Billion.

I don't like Arsenal one bit. Cunt fans and an even bigger cunt of a manager. Graciousness was completely lost on Wenger, the whinging cunt of a cunt. I'm glad they've won **** all forever and will continue to do so. It's Landan bruv innit. **** off and **** off again.

                        Over to you Tom.

MANCHESTER City midfielder Samir Nasri has delivered a scathing assessment of Arsenal's season, telling them to "celebrate their third-place achievement" while he "focuses on winning titles" at City.

The French midfielder left Arsenal for £24m last summer, amid accusations he was a mercenary for signing a £170,000-a-week City contract which doubled his earnings.

And now, following City's Premier League title victory, Nasri has rounded on his former employers, who have not won a trophy in seven years, accusing them of settling for second best.

Arsenal finished third and qualified for the Champions League, but earned 19 points fewer than the champions.

"People at Arsenal tried to make out that I came here for the money," Nasri told a French TV channel.

"I hope they are watching me now, collecting my Premier League winner’s medal. I believe they have not won a trophy for many years now.

"If all that I was interested in was money, the easiest decision would have been to stay at Arsenal, picking up my money every week and walking into the team.

"There are many people doing this right now at Arsenal.

"I made the hard choice to come and fight for my place at a big club, where they never settle for second best, and I have proved it correct.

"I now hope the Arsenal fans can get on with their lives and forget me, they should celebrate their third-place achievement and I will focus on winning titles."

Nasri began the season strongly for City but was quickly relegated to the bench for much of the opening months.

His form picked up and he forced his way back into the starting XI, eventually making 34 appearances and scoring five goals.

That rug really tied the room together.
