I know loads of fans of other clubs that supported us in the CL final.

I dont see a huge problem with it, few of my Liverpool fan mates are hoping Arsenal win now, Im indifferent, I want Arsenal to win because of my bet, but even if I didnt have this on I wouldnt want them to lose, or win. Fair play to them theyve played well.
The times they are a changin'.

If they overturn it and go through, of course it's an amazing achievement, fair play to them etc - nobody would deny that and there's nothing wrong with respecting the achievement. But **** wanting them to win or 'come on arsenal', i want what's best for us and Arsenal riding the crest of a huge wave of confidence & momentum isnt good for us.

They really are. Watching Lampard and Terry after the second goal all hugs, kisses and smiles having got the manager the sack was sickening. I hope Rafa never goes there.
                  Modifying post.

I'm no Arsenal fan (especially after the weekend) but fair play if they get through. The last thing we should become is bitter like the blues (Mancs excluded of course)

It's not being 'bitter' FFS, it's wanting Arsenal's confidence shot to pieces (and not multiplied about a million) so that it might increase the chances of a collapse and our chances of perhaps catching them.

Our problems are of our own making. We have had plenty of chances to win routine games at home and should be higher up the table based on merit.

I want them to fall from grace as much as United, all of these supporters that have sprung out of the wood work in the past few years and they're in general just a nasty hateful bunch.

sure regardless of the result they have gave it a good go. Credit where credit is due i don't see the point of being militant about it.
