Thats 3 that haven't been too good this season. In theory, Id replace Barry with Wilshire, Walcott with Downing, and Young with Johnson. But, I know its not an ideal world.

Barry's had a good season again IMO. You don't play every week for the league leaders if you've had a **** season or you're not very good. I don't really understand the hate for him, he's a good player.

I dont hate him, I just think Wilshire would be better in there. Plus, Im basing it on the times Ive seen him play and him not being to great. He has been terrible for England too for a year or so.

Agree Wilshere should be in if he's ever fit again. I'd prefer Barry over Parker though, he's a much better player.

I dont think there is much in it really. Parker is a Media darling, so gets the amazing reputation that goes with it. Wouldn't say he was much different in terms of ability though.

Shall we give him the man of the match award now to?

Not a surprise really. Probably the closest to the Pearce mold as there is in that squad.

If the team play anything like in the style of the under 21's he took to the Euro's last summer it'll be a drubbing.

What a kick in the teeth for Steven.

What a ****ing shambles England are, I wish he would retire from this ****.

Did anyone see the U-21's with Pearce in charge? Absolutley diabolical eye bleeding football, Hodgsonesque in fact.

                          ****ing disgrace.

                          Parker ffs.

I hope Gerrard ****s them off now.

Gerrard will retire after the Euros, Im sure of it. So will Lampard, Terry, Cole and Rio at a guess. They all need to concentrate on prolonging there club careers.

Gerrard may very well have turned it down.

He needs to retire from England duty anyway.

And with that being the case there's a strong arguement they should have looked at someone who's going to be in the side for the future. Although he's a keeper Joe Hart actually wouldn't have been a bad shout IMO.
