He deserves for everyone to think he's a cunt. The police and the legal system have no place getting involved imo (except of course because we have laws in place based on the political desire for people to get along with each other, rather than to protect their fundamental rights).

If it's calling someone a n****r then yes, that comes under the right to free speech imo. We shouldn't legislate against people calling each other names. If it is repetitive and equates to harrassement, then that's rightly covered by other laws.

It is, yes. A dubious law, as I said, but putting that aside, how exactly did his tweets incite racial hatred? For me, its bad enough having such a law, but such a wide interpretation is ridiculous.

Lets face it, whenever laws are introduced its with the stated aim of tackling some extreme situation (Abu hamza etc) but in practise its the trivial issues that get prosecuted. We all lose our freedom of speech because we're all dickheads in someone's eyes.

Guilty of three charges related to "using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intention of stirring up racial hatred" under the Public Order Act 1986, not guilty on one further such charge.
Guilty of one further charge of owning recordings related to "stirring up racial hatred".

Amongst other things.
