I didn't say it does, i don't think he needed to make that challenge by going to ground. It gives the ref a decision to make which could go either way.

Regardless of whether it was a pen or not it was a daft challenge.

Can this penalty decision help to keep Spurs out of Europe entirely, without Everton winning the FA Cup? Just wondering what happens if they finish 6th. Presumably if Chelsea win then 6th gets the Europa league, or if we win it then the sport from Carling cup goes to 6th in the league.

Murphy was told by the ref.. He didn't give the pen against him, he was clipped on the way through
