Yeah, for the first time, he's looked like he really wants to play for this club.

Might also be he believes he's good enough to play for the club, the player of the past 5 games or so is so much more confident, strong and relaxed yet fired up at the same time.

The fans would never have been on his case on here as much if he was trying as hard as he is now, he's 6'4" he should be bulling people and causing havoc and he's proven he can do it now.

Hopefully it will raise his value so as much of the 35 million can be recouped as possible & we can bring someone better in. As much as Carroll has improved I still don't think he's good enough to take the club forward & if we want to move forward next season we need better players than the likes of Carroll, Downing, Adam, etc imo...

Roy plans to start with the 10 players so as not disrupt things before Rooney is back...........................outside the box management. We cannot comprehend the level his football mind works on.

The Newcastle performance and subsequent press and reactions seemed to have the reverse reaction. This could make him more determined to prove everyone wrong and do well for Liverpool.

Win/win for me. He's better off there than left to his own devices at home watching the matches.

With our midfield consisting of Parker, Barry, Milner, Lampard this is the one season England NEED to play hoofball. And Crouch isn't an ideal target man, Carroll is much better at that job.
