They could always give the referee a chance to watch the replays and make judgment themselves retrospectively. Likewise with the two yellow cards rule and not being able to appeal that. Ridiculous laws.

Surely no referee alive would be arrogant enough to argue they got a decision like that right, unless of course it was 'wee Scholesy' or a teammate making the tackle.

I've said that before, it would make sense - which is probably the reason the FA would never do it.

The only problem I could see with it is that it gives referees an easy option when it comes to a big decision. If they aren’t 100% sure, then they’ll always sway towards the yellow as minimum damage will be caused and they can always change their decision.

If they are assessed properly though and punished for consistently getting decisions wrong, then you would hope it would soon sort itself out.

The whole system needs an overhaul IMO.

His movement is so much better than it was at the beginning of the season it is unreal. I've had my doubts about him but I've always liked Carroll and wanted him to do well.

I think though, for all the deserved praise he has been getting he needs to show this form on a more regular basis, if he can we certainly have a beast on our hands.

If we can get ourselves another finisher and convince Kenny to play 3 up top we could see the best out of him, and Suarez.
