I've said all season I've thought he needs a run of games, that's something he's not had, he's been in and out of the team far too often.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Erm..yeah. That was kinda the point of the post, though I'm sure that it was the 86 final.

surely you mean the whelan cross to rush that he blasts into the corner in 86? thats the one that everyone remembers hitting the camera.

He's a match winner now. Keep playing him, Kenny.

Credit to Carroll despite missing chances he kept trying to get on the end of things and got some reward

He should play more often, think we will see more from him if we do that

He also looks somewhat fitter and it was interesting to hear Brad Jones praising him for the extra work he has been doing

Its always good to see players staying behind after training to work on things

Shows they actually care (something that many people have criticised him for)
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Perfectly put! In all probability, he'll never be a £35M standard player but he was immense in terms of workrate and positioning today. Not to mention scoring the ****in winner
