Yeah, I think it'd be madness to not take him when he's capable of performances like that. He'll probably pick Zamora though. *snigger*

Suarez loves him I reckon, this version of Carroll anyway. Gives him so much more space.

No, i hope roy doesn't pick him. He might just help roy progress from the group stage.

Or get injured. And most definitely lose every ounce of confidence he's been so sisypheanly building up all ****ing year.

The season is ending at the wrong time for him really. But from his point of view there's a big chance he's played himself into the Euros.

Different player since the turn of the year. Completely changed my view on him now.

He could be a Biscan & Meijer cult-hero type. Only much, much better.

He's been a different player since the FA cup final.

Been a different player since Newcastle. I think getting boo'd as he was subbed finally broke any link to the club, and now he is 100% concentrated on Liverpool. If he can keep this form until next season he will be an animal.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If he keeps up or even improves that level of desire and aggression he will become a very difficult player to play against

I think his all round game has been improving for a long long time and all thats been lacking is aggression to take him up a notch

The Andy Carroll we have seen in the last couple of games is the Carroll we thought we were signing, if he plays like that all the time he'd be almost unplayable and would be a great player for us.

Good point. I've always thought he was pining for the Toon, makes sense.

I'm amazed at how he seemed to ease in nicely to the high tempo game last night. It wasn't a case of accommodating him. He slotted in well.

Technical qualities are on the up. He's oozing with confidence, working hard, and his heading ability is really top notch at the moment.

I think he's earned himself a chance to shine next season. Unlike many of our players, Carroll took the Newcastle debacle and strove to improve even more. A great mentality to have.

Absolutely terrorized Chelsea yesterday. I love him, got exactly the right attitude and will prove a lot of people wrong next season.

That's the beast that I thought we had signed. A massive improvement, and if he can add a couple of more goals to his game then he'll be a real asset.

Think he's in for a good season next year.

Seems to have a little bit of a turn of pace now too, looking much, much fitter. Shame the seasons ending for him really. I hope he makes the Euros squad, could do him the world of good.
