    It is 1 in 3

I realised my mistake in my sleep last night but couldn't be bothered changing it as I thought nobody had noticed the mistake is it had been several hours since I posted that

How exactly do you build a team around an enigma like Suarez then??

You don't need to. He would fit it any team IMO. He certainly fits into the ticky tacky football style anyway

Ajax did it, why can't we exactly?

Other teams build around their best players even if they are enigmatic. Simple fact is that he is our best striker and player.

I am not sure it'd work well for him to have a team built Carroll, I think that would be to his detriment.

              I hope we don't.

Andy is getting better and better and I cannot be any more happier as he really started to grow on me but I am not convinced that he'll ever be top, top player as his game is missing lots of things.

Special player and already top notch but he needs to trust his teammates more and have them involved more in final third, which would make him so much more dangerous.

Were Ajax a better side then than they are now?

I really don't see how it makes much sense to build a side around one player (unless it is Messi or Ronaldo I perhaps). Even if we assume that it were a good idea I don't think Suarez or Carroll are great candidates. Carroll because the tendency would be for the team to be a long ball, fast ball into the box team which I feel is limited. Suarez because what do you do to the side if his out or off form - he is all about individual skill. Making a team set up to feed the one creative player looks pretty **** as a plan when they are not there.

I think we need to build a system that can accommodate a range of forward players and still create chances and/or control the game. I'm sure Suarez can join well with that and I feel that the Carroll we saw at the end of last season could too.

People are obsessed with pretty football played by teams like spain but a good old fashioned header like last night really gets the juices flowing.

You do not win league titles with teams built around a single player (because the team is lost when that player is not playing) although sometimes a team wins the league because of one player (ie United with Ronaldo).

this ensures variety to the attack, keeps the other teams guessing. we then dont struggle is any one man is out of the team, such as stevie, suarez or carroll. more options, more goals from midfield is the way forward.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Because Suarez is more adaptable and isn't our main goal threat.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Still not sure I know what you mean. Are you saying that you expect him to play as more of a support striker than the focal point of our attack?

If so, that's fair enough but I still expect him to be our top scorer.
