Not sure that would be enough..

Suarez is not an out and out striker and if Borini got injured (if he comes), we'd be screwed..

I think it would be good for Carroll to go on loan but I'd also like to see him stay and play a full season with Suarez Gerrard and perhaps Borini, if he comes..

I think we will see less reliance on what you call an out and out striker in the new formation - I can imagine a situation where something like Bellamy, Suarez, Borini and/or Dempsey are our options.

Crazy stuff, nothing BR said points to AC being shipped out imo, any more than any other player.

Imo we'd be stupid to get rid now, what, are we giving up on scoring headers under BR ?

Would be a really bad decision to ship him out.

Deserves a season given his form over the last six months.

He's not the most skilful but his touch and awareness have improved a lot. I think he can play in Rodgers' system.

            Time will tell I suppose.

I'd be gutted if he went now, he's majorly grown on me in the last 6 months and I hope he stays.

You should get perhaps some cream for that ?

I see no reason to get rid of AC now he is showing some potential. No matter what Brendo's tactics, having AC on the bench provides us with options.

I don't see us playing perfect tika taka within a couple of months. Plus if it was that easy ie, lets play like Barcelona and win loads - everyone would be doing it.

There is no way we should be getting rid of Carroll. Absolutely no way!

As for Rodgers getting shot because he won't work in his system... Well isn't it the role of the manager and coach to, y'kna, coach players so they develop and do fit.

Rodgers had 3 centre forwards at Swansea with Graham, Lita and Moore.
Moore was his back up, Graham first choice and Lita used as the option over the top.

Purely hypothetical but IF Carroll goes we would need to sign (IMO) 3 centre forwards as Suarez is more likely to operate from wide, if 1 is Borini then he is a 21 year old who hasn't played in the PL.
Rodgers may not rate Carroll, he might think AC won't suit his system but I think we need him for next season at least.
If nothing else he would be our plan B off the bench if we were struggling.

And he'll have made that judgement having had zero contact with him apart from a telephone conversation while Andy is on his holibobs.

                        Far sighted coaching indeed.

No need at all for BR to put this out to the media. imo.

He's putting him in the shop window, letting clubs know that Andy is available.

If he isn't in his plans then it's absolutely the right move.

I have no problem with moving the big man on - he's not up to the task as far as i'm concerned. A disastrous signing... as suspected from day one.

No need imo. Since when do we sell players via the press ?

Maybe he should just give them a list of players he wants shut of and get them to circulate it, take an ad out in the Mirror maybe ?

Also, if something go's wrong with any deals he may be wanting to make, then Suarez maybe gets injured in the Olympics, and we end up having to rely on AC, he could have one very demotivated player on his hands.
