I am not Carroll's biggest fan and he has been very inconsistent last year but there is no doubt that the part of the problem is that he wasn't featured regularly.

He is a striker and needs streak of games to get going. We all have seen what Carroll can do at the end of the season when Kenny played him few games in a row.

Perhaps or perhaps Kenny made mistakes too that ultimately affected Carroll's confidence and as result the productivity in those rare games that he had opportunity to start.

Unless of course he was also unacceptably lazy in training.

I still don't think he was any better than average at the end of the season tbh.

He's going to be a good striker but all he can ever be is a big target man (I would love to see him prove me wrong) and thats the problem here. There is no point in wasting our time on somebody who won't fit into the philosophy and style that will be in place for the foreseeable future. Move him on to a team that will appreciate his qualities. I won't mind if he does well elsewhere (as long as its not at a rival). He seems like a good lad but he may be wasting his time if he tries to get into the Rodgers setup.

As far as were concerned he could resemble a hedgehog on a motorbike. As long as they pay 25m or give us pato in exchange.

Time to play hardball with Milan if they want him.

Milan is a waste of time, because i feel AC won't want to go there anyway, he's the type of player that will play his whole career in England. imo.

I can't see AC going to AC either.

He'll probably end up at DC United.

Neither can I. They've been linked with Tevez and Dzeko.

Think this could equally apply to AC, only a couple of years difference, but same circumstamces.
"Jordan got a wee bit of stick last year but do you know what, this is a boy who is 21 years of age," Rodgers said.

"He's come here for a bucket load of money, to a massive club, with massive expectation. He's moved away from home, he's on his own and he has to be a world beater straight away.
But i know, regardless, AC is'nt a BR type player.
