I don't want Carroll to leave I think there is a good player in there and recently he's started to show glimpses of what he can do.

Also I think he's the sort of player who would come back to bite us if we let him go.

He never was a Liverpool type player but he did improve massively in the second part of last season so it would be a bit sad to see him not being rewarded for that and at least given a chance in the new set up. But if there are takers for silly money and we have identified another player to replace him then fair enough.

I don't think there will silly money exchanged; our best chance - if we are selling - is to have several clubs in a bidding war. As such, I expect any bids made (if any) to be made public knowledge.

It's not what I want, but it's certainly looking likely that he's gone.

Yup, if Downing, Carroll, Adam and Bellamy are off and Kuyt and Maxi have gone, we are relying on Lucas to hit the ground running and a lot more than 'four players' that Rodgers has mentioned.

Aqualini staying and Cole using his ability would be a bonus I guess, but we could do with being a little less kamikaze in our trimming (if true).

I want them sold rather then loaned.

Its a pressure cooker at anfield, you don't want a player moaning through an agent throughout the season about lack of game time, bench warming, treated like crap etc. It gives the media plenty of ammunition to go off.

Nor Do I want Roggy to be loan out players he does not want. Don't want players to come out again in media trying to prove a point and make ****ty statements or have the press come out with comments like Rodgers could do with them in the team etc.

Sell them who ever they are Adam, Carroll, Downing be done with them once and for all and all the drama that could come with them.
