"You can't say you wouldn't be interested in Andy Carroll, he's a player who has got great stature in the Premier League," Allardyce told Sky Sports News HD.
"Whether Andy Carroll wants to come to West Ham is another matter."
Asked if he would favour a loan move or a permanent deal for the 23-year-old striker, Allardyce added: "It depends on whether Andy Carroll wants to come to West Ham." link

Ye I agree, I thinks Rodgers has to use Carroll, he cost a lot of money and had started to play good football.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI hope carroll refuses to leave. **** them. sit tight and rodgers would have to accomodate him at some point and then he'd have to grab that opportunity when it came. It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

Depends really, if the team plays better without him then he doesn't have to play him at all. We wouldn't trying to offload him if the owners were worried about the loss, this is Liverpool FC, not Carroll.Originally posted by malg View PostYe I agree, I thinks Rodgers has to use Carroll, he cost a lot of money and had started to play good football.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

I don't want Carroll to leave I think there is a good player in there and recently he's started to show glimpses of what he can do.
Also I think he's the sort of player who would come back to bite us if we let him go.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

And for the sort of figures mentioned it makes sense to keep him and give him another season.

I don't think a loan move would he such a bad idea to the right club. A club in the cl who will use his strengths and put him in the shop window is probably the only route to us getting back at least half the fee, however unlikely. a loan to a lower team who expect him to save them is probably going to backfire and hammer his value further.
But there is no point in keeping him for the odd cup game or late sub. May as well take the hit now this summer than pay him for another year before taking a bigger hit.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
