No point pretending otherwise, I have a lot of time for Carroll but e doesn't fit in, if he goes to West Ham I'm sure they'll stay up, he is ideal for Allardyce.

Rodgers said the other day we wouldn't entertain a loan deal so I really hope he changed his mind because he was told he would get the £17m to spend in advance. The problem is what happens if we do spend the Carroll money and West Ham ended up getting relegated?
