That's maybe a little harsh, Kennel.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

You've got to be in it to win it. I think Rafa might have had something to do with ours winning it. I'm not sure, correct me if I'm wrong.

      Exactly.

I can't believe people actually would want us to get rid of him, on transfer deadline day, possibly leaving us with no time to replace him and wanting a top 4 finish to boot. Say what you want, I'd rather have Carroll than not having him and having no replacement bar two 18-year olds. I'm positive Rodgers would think the same. It's complete lunacy.

If Suarez gets injured we're ****ed. It's as simple as that. I'll refer to this thread for all the smug ones with all their spite should the above-mentioned happen.

I can't believe the bitterness towards AC, not a lover of the guy,but he has been giving a 100% recently. And yes rather have him than no one. So unless a deal can be done where we get a replacement within the window, then we should keep until Jan.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

i think the bitterness is the pricetag & not the player; unfortunatley for AC the two are intertwinned

Still think a loan deal for Carroll is insane - cash deal or we just stick with him. Unless money is being released to get somebody with a proven record. Dempsey is not that person at all for me. Needs to be someone who is good enough to lead the line potentially at somewhere like Old ****ford or the Emirates.

Gary Jacob‏@garyjacob Word is that Carroll having medical at West Ham, ahead of a loan deal. Contradicts Sam Allardyce quotes earlier.

Looks like it is happening then.

                        Balls out for Walcott now?

Same here, it's ****ing stupid. Spearing out on loan, Carroll out on loan, might as well just give the whole team out on loan and then er, what exactly do we have to show for it? Someone paying 50% of his wages.

This must mean we're getting Dempsey.

I thought we were letting Carroll go to bring funds in for other players. How does a loan fit in with that?

You'd assume so, from recent reports anyway. I wonder if Rodgers will pull something out of left field if that doesn't work out though.
