I'm still slightly worried about the West Ham loan deal. If they get relegated and Carroll doesn't perform, then his value will fall big time. If we went to somewhere like Newcastle on loan, then he'd stand a better chance of succeeding I feel.

So they'll pay 17m after + 3m now? I say that's fine with me. No bitterness but feel bad for Andy. Not his fault that he has that 35m price tag on his head.
He hasn't thrown a fit ever. I wish him all the best and hope he becomes a beast of a player.Patience when teased often, transforms into rage

Yeah we need to have a back up incase we cant get Walcott.Originally posted by kris90210 View PostYou'd assume so, from recent reports anyway. I wonder if Rodgers will pull something out of left field if that doesn't work out though.
I am guessing Dempsey is going to happen so it will be him and one other.
Or BR has a worldy up his sleeve

Allardyce's style will suit him down to the ground.

Behind Ba and Cisse? I don't think he'd play enough to succeed there. Even with the ACN coming along.Originally posted by Phoenix06 View PostI'm still slightly worried about the West Ham loan deal. I have a funny feeling his price will go up after his outstanding season at longball ham utd.One tit for another.

I don't detect much bitterness, if any. He's just a very average footballer but seems a nice lad. He's done nothing wrong, it's just the way it is.Originally posted by malg View PostI can't believe the bitterness towards AC, not a lover of the guy,but he has been giving a 100% recently. And yes rather have him than no one. So unless a deal can be done where we get a replacement within the window, then we should keep until Jan.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

I don't think it's an option to buy. It's more of we will definitely stump up 17m if we stay regardless of how **** he turns out to be. Ball is in our court not theirs.Originally posted by sean_lfc View PostCan anyone tell me the last time a player went out on loan with the option to buy and it actually happened? He's a brick ****house target man who's going to play for Big Sam. He'll look good, no worries.Originally posted by Phoenix06 View PostI'm still slightly worried about the West Ham loan deal.
