Liverpool are willing to loan out Carroll to Milan for 1 year: €3m the loan fee and a €17m buy-out option. (via Mediaset)
Madness if we agree to another buy out with Milan after the Aquilani debacle.

Also I am not sure if Andy will fancy Milan.

It's fine if it has to become permanent and the owners let us spend the potential cash now. If not they can piss off.

Terrible piece of business if we do that again.

I hope we (Ayre) are not that stupid.

Earlier in the window I heard Mark Hateley saying Carroll should go to Milan. I suspect they are interested.

After finishing swearing and throwing things at anything Italian, my head's settled.

If we can 3m euros up front, get them to pay all his wages and then have him back at the end of the season that's not so bad. He gets shop window, I mean playing, time and we get some money. Alternatively, they might choose to buy him, in which case they know the price.

Unlike Aquilani Carroll won't go on strike here and Newcastle will be desperate for him when Ba and Cisse announce they want to move next summer.
                  One tit for another.

if it was a sealed deal, ie, they are legally committed to buy for 17m at the end of they year, then its worth it.

the deal breaker is i dont think andy would go.

Then what would be the point of loaning him?

We're like Crazy George's for Italian clubs with no cash, clearly

They can piss right off! Not a chance will we loan Carroll out and Rodgers has said this as Milan will only back out of the deal in 12 months time like they always do.

the player would have to agree to go on loan... if he doesnt fancy it then there is no loan.

I cannot believe we would be willing to do a loan deal with Milan again, think it's lazy journalism
